Take your steak out 30 minutes early and let it warm up. Rub plenty of salt and pepper all over it.
02 -
Get your pan really hot and drop in the oil. Brown the steaks on one side for about 8 minutes. Then flip them over, add your butter, sliced garlic, and the rosemary. Turn down the heat so your butter doesn't burn. Spoon the melted butter over your steaks for another 8 minutes until they hit medium-rare (about 125°F). Wrap them in foil and let them sit for 10-15 minutes after cooking.
03 -
Mix your shrimp in a bowl with paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Using that same pan, put in a bit of oil and cook the shrimp until they're pink and done, about 2 minutes. Set them aside when finished.
04 -
Turn the heat down and throw in some butter. Add your soy sauce and cream, making sure to scrape up all the tasty bits stuck to the bottom of the pan. Let it bubble away until it gets a little thick, then sprinkle those red pepper flakes in.
05 -
Stack your steak on the shrimp and pour that yummy sauce right on top. Scatter some chopped parsley around and serve with your favorite veggie sides and potatoes for a complete dinner.
