Cook linguine in water with salt until al dente following pack directions. Drain in colander and set to the side.

Melt 1 tbsp butter in a hot skillet over medium-high flame. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper, then cook about 3-4 mins each side for medium-rare doneness. Take beef out, let it sit a bit, then cut into thin slices.

Using the same pan, drop in the other tbsp of butter. Throw in your chopped garlic and cook for about a minute till you can smell it nicely.

Pour in heavy cream, add Parmesan, sprinkle black pepper and red pepper flakes into the pan. Mix everything together and let it bubble gently for 2-3 mins until it gets a bit thicker.

Dump the drained linguine into your sauce pan and flip around to get sauce all over the pasta.

Put pasta on plates and lay sliced steak on top. Eat right away while it's hot.
